I don't think it matters. Newspapers get money from companies to advertise all the time.
Not sure if I understand your point. Or if you understand mine? Sure, transparency alone won't guarantee a company is well managed. But if it leads to criticism, constructive or otherwise, then this is feedback the company can use to make its operations more efficient. Look forward to further comment.
